October 14, 2009 - Deaconess Medical Center has launched a new program called Senior Circle. The core of the program is the commitment to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle for seniors by providing programs that encourage continued learning, wellness, health and volunteering, coupled with a host of social activities.
Senior Circle Association is a national, non-profit, tax-paying organization that makes life even better for adults 50 and better. More than 89 chapters nationwide are sponsored by hospitals affiliated with Community Health Systems. All employees and volunteers at Valley are encouraged to join this great program.
Membership in Senior Circle will help you get more out of life through health talks, in-hospital benefits, local business bargains and discounts on prescriptions, vision care and personal emergency response systems, and many more valuable member-only discounts and privileges. You'll also experience fun and fellowship participating in a full calendar of social events, exercise programs and travel opportunities. All members receive a subscription to a bi-monthly chapter publication, and the national award-winning quarterly magazine – Inside Circle.
Senior Circle membership is only $15 a year, but the benefits can be priceless to your health and happiness. If you're 50 or better, you owe it to yourself to find out more.
