Multidisciplinary/Physician Committees for collaborative work and improvement in practice
SBAR Communication style between physicians and staff with more comprehensive information available to aid in decision making
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses are offered for Physicians. Information and registration are available at 473-7275.
Education on various subjects three times monthly at Deaconess—all carry Category II CME credits; more at our sister hospital, Valley Hospital and Medical Center, ten miles away.

We are proud to offer an up-to-the-minute medical library in the Deaconess Health and Education Center. It carries authoritative and accurate information for medical professionals including books, journals and audiovisuals, plus computer access to PubMed and full-text journals and books.
